GeoLIT™ Database

The GeoLIT™ Database is a national listing of all building locations that have been identified by GeoResults research as being served by one or more fiber enabled Telecom Service Providers, either ILEC or CLEC. This database also contains the name of each individual ILEC and CLEC that has placed fiber enabled network equipment at each “lit” building. GeoResults has developed information on over 103,000 fiber “Lit” building locations and over 165,000 individual ILEC and CLEC Service Providers that have placed network equipment at these “lit” buildings. This database is a national database that covers over 330 Metropolitan Statistical Areas as well as all non-MSA territories in the US market.

The GeoLIT Node™ Database is a comprehensive national listing of all individual pieces of fiber optic enabled network equipment that have been located at each fiber “lit” building along with the estimated bandwidth capacity of each piece of fiber optic enabled network equipment. The bandwidth capacity of each piece of fiber optic network equipment is stated in High Speed LAN, 10/100 Router, OC3, OC12, OC48 or OC192 terms. GeoResults has developed information on over 360,000 pieces of fiber enabled network equipment at these fiber “Lit” building locations. This database is a national database that covers over 330 Metropolitan Statistical Areas as well as all non-MSA territories in the US market.
